Amazon reveals Amazon Fire TV

Amazon has today revealed its new home console streaming device entitled Amazon Fire TV which enables users to stream movies and content using their Amazon account as well as play games. The console comes equipped with a controller with built in Mic for voice command searches, and a separate game controller for playing games. You can find all the details on the store page which is currently selling the console for just $99 with an extra $40 for the controller (no date for a European launch yet). With SEGA,Disney and EA on board for developing content, it will be interesting to see how the console fares against recent releases from Microsoft and Sony, although obviously is catering to a more casual audience.
