Microsoft will be rolling out a new Xbox One update later this month which finally enables what American users have had from day one where the Xbox One controls a set top box for an all encompassing TV experience which does not interrupt the operation of the Xbox One games console. Gamers will be able to seamlessly power on and off their set top box and change channels as well as store favourites and use voice commands or Smartglass for navigation.  There’s also the option to do all this whilst playing a game at the same time using the snap feature.
