Xbox One Screen Mirroring Demo (Wireless Display)

In a future update for the Xbox One, gamers will be able to wirelessly mirror their displays from smartphones, laptops, PCs and other devices to the bigger screen as a new app has gone live today which paves the way for the future. As part of the preview program users can sample the technology which works with select devices. We used a Windows 8.1 laptop and managed to play a spot of Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes and showcase some images quite effortlessly. Although the Xbox One can already stream content , this app has great uses for smartphones where movies, photos and games can be presented in a new way. Whilst this technology isn’t anything new, it’s a nice feature to have on the Xbox One as Microsoft pushes its encompassing all in one system. Take a look at our Xbox One screen mirroring demo video to see it up and running.
