Upcoming Gears of War: Judgment DLC detailed

Epic Games have today detailed their plans for DLC for the upcoming prequel – Gears of War: Judgment. First up, there’s content scheduled to be released for free thanks to a sponsorship by the buxom Maxim magazine. This will see the release of an all new map, Haven – as well as the return of the classic Execution mode. Haven and Execution will be released for free mere weeks after the game’s launch on April 2nd.

Epic Games have also released details on the game’s VIP Season Pass. The pass will be available at launch for 1600 Microsoft points, and gives Gearsaholics a 20% saving over upcoming DLC for Gears of War: Judgment.

The VIP Pass is set to include six multiplayer maps, two new modes and nine unlocks. Interestingly, in a first for the Gears of War series, being a VIP Season Pass holder grants you a permanent XP boost in addition to all the planned and discounted content.

Gears of War: Judgment is set to emerge on store shelves on March 19th in the U.S. and March 22nd in the UK.
