Unreal Engine 4 Elemental Demo using a HD 7970

Epic Games’ Elemental tech demo pushes the hardware whilst looking exceptionally grand when it was revealed last year, but now the demo is out in the wild for PC users to try, how well does it perform using a mid range graphics set up. We’re running the Elemental Unreal Engine 4 tech demo using an i5 3570K processor with 8 Gb of Ram and a stock VTX  HD 7970 graphics card using the most recent  AMD drivers 14.4. We’re also using capture equipment through the same set up which takes a small percentage of the cpu usage and reduces the stability of the frames per second slightly, but at least you get an idea of the overall general performance.
