Oculus Rift Now Available in UK Stores

The Oculus Rift was previously only obtainable via the official website until now where consumers will be able to walk into John Lewis, PC World, GAME, Curry’s or even Harrods to grab a £549 VR Headset. You can also order one from Amazon.co.uk. Every Rift comes with Lucky’s Tale game , alongside numerous free apps such as Oculus Cinema and 360 Photo viewer. There’s also plenty of other free content available on the Oculus Store such as Farlands, Oculus Dreamdeck. It has to be stated though, the Rift isn’t a standalone device and requires a fairly competent desktop PC to be able to run the software. UK consumers can easily test their current PC with the Oculus’ compatibility tool (which can be downloaded from here) to make sure they have everything needed to power their Rift experience.
