Ninja Theory says screw you to Devil May Cry babies

It’s always nice to see when developers stick two fingers up at the very vocal minority of fans who simply complain and bitch about everything; it’s even better when they make reference to it in the actual game they’ve worked so hard on for the last few years. Whilst DmC Devil May Cry’s leading character Dante has gone through several conceptual looks, the final offering is perfectly fine. Take a look at this video which makes comparisons to the initial fan rage towards the Dante character and subsequent teasing from Ninja Theory which simply says, screw you we’re doing this our own way.

VIDEO CONTAINS VERY MINOR SPOILERS.

It’s obvious many of the complainers who call themselves “fans” will no doubt be rushing out to buy the game when it hits store shelves tomorrow, they’ll possibly complain about the easy combat and partly obnoxious characters. However, once spending some time with the game and giving it a good going over – if they are man enough – it’s likely they will have to concede that DmC Devil May Cry is a worthy addition to the series regardless of who developed it and what looks the main character sports. Whether any of the haters will admit this is to be seen but this is the power of the Internet where everyone’s a critic and everyone has a voice.

I love a game company with BALLS. NICE JOB NINJA THEORY. :)

Gamers (or should I say crybabies…), listen up: a game developer does NOT have to put in everything YOU want in THEIR game. Yes, it IS important for a developer to listen to fans and stick to the roots of the franchise… but let the DEVELOPER.. let the ARTISTS… CREATE. They know more than you about game design… usually ;) Enough said. Can’t wait to play this new DMC game. Wish people would argue about something more important than the color of a characters HAIR, LOL.

    • FUCKYOU

You’re a fucking moron. Hair has nothing to do with why DMC fans are pissed off at Ninja Theory.

It’s a number of complaints, the hair being one of them.
