GTA V gets a final release date dual versions possible?

Rockstar Games has today confirmed that its eagerly anticipated GTA V will no longer ship around May as many speculated but will come much later in the year on September 17th for Xbox and PS3. However, some are suggesting that the release date might also coincide with the imminent release of next gen consoles from Microsoft and Sony at around the same period. If this is the case then is it possible that a next gen version of the game will be developed alongside a much wanted PC version, or are people clutching at straws. Rockstar suggests the game needs more polishing and the wait will be worthwhile.

It would be interesting if Microsoft or Sony adopts a more PC route when it comes to games where versions are compatible with multiple system specs. We’ll just have to wait and see about this as it’s also a potential logistical nightmare mixes the two together. At least the PS3 and Xbox consoles will go out with a bang.
