DmC Devil May Cry improvements over the original Devil May Cry

Whilst Ninja Theory’s DmC Devil May Cry comes under flak for many things, one has to look back at the source material and contemplate some of the things that are often overlooked nowadays.  The video is not a direct comparison (uses the HD Collection version for starters), or an indication of which game is better – or takes into account improvements with the other three games before Ninja Theory’s reboot – it does highlight some of the annoying elements, that at the time were bearable and perhaps now would be frowned upon. Take a look at this DmC Devil May Cry improvements over the original video. Were the annoyances that bad, or just a sign of the PS2 times?
